Howard L. Hart, and the owner of Hart’s Desire Log
Homes. Happy to see that you are interested in Log
Homes, and I would like to take this opportunity
to show you the ways we can help you fulfill that
Dream.
After working in the construction industry
for several years, I became an authorized for The
Original Old Timer Log Homes in the spring of
2003. In the fall of 2007, Old Timers merged with
Strongwood Log Home Company based in
Waupaca, WI. Our Log
Packages are still produced Mt. Juliet, TN at the
former Old Timer mill, where we have one of the
best kiln drying facilities available, and produce
some of the most completely kiln dried Log
Packages that are available in the Log Home
industry. We now have offices and staff in both
Waupaca, WI, and Mt Juliet, TN., and can provide
Log Homes and Service anywhere in the
United
States, and
several other parts of the
world.
With Strongwood we can provide anything
from a basic Log package to a complete Log Home,
including Log style furniture and accessories to
furnish it with. Recently we have added a 10” full
round, Swedish Cope Log, and have the largest
selection of Log styles, sizes that is available
anywhere. Including the size, style, corner
detail, and type of finish (milled, or hand hewn),
we have more than 75 different Logs to choose
from. At Hart’s Desire Log Homes, and Strongwood
Log Home Company, our main concern is to not only
provide a quality product, but to assist in any
way possible to see that your Dream Home is
complete.
Harts Desire Log Homes will help with any
or all of the process of building your new home.
We have 35 floor plans in our new catalog, and
many more plans available. These plans can be
changed or customized in many ways if necessary,
to fit your personal need, and be unique to you.
We also offer custom design from your personal
sketch of your Dream Home. Hart’s Desire can
provide whatever assistance you desire during the
planning and building process. Anything from
financing, providing a basic Log package, a
complete Log Home package, stacking the Log walls,
a turnkey home, or to any stage in between.
Construction manuals and blueprints are provided
with our packages, and with at least some building
experience, can be owner
built.
